I'm running Windows XP Professional (SP2 is not installed). When I select
either "Sharing and Security" or "Properties" on any folder nothing happens!
I am only able to share my root drive "C" - which I do not want to do!! I
am logged in with an Administrator account so should have full rightsd etc.
Can someone please tell me how to fix this problem - it's driving me nuts.

U can drag a folder into shared documents, it will make a shortcut from the
original location.
Also, right click on a folder, pick properies, share
U can also manage the accounts by going start>run>control userpasswords2
(type control userpasswords2, in the run command)

If you have XP Home, boot to Safe Mode and log on with an account in the
administrative group. Now access the properties of the folders that you
want to share. The missing tabs for Sharing and Security will be visible
and you can make your adjustments.
