Hello,

I am working on a sony vaio p505 with a docking station.
All of a sudden, In my computer it doesn't show the cd
drive. I went to device manager and there is an
exclamation mark by the cd rom. The device status says
code 10. Its a cd burner. any suggestions would be
greatly appreciated

Did you install SP2? Mine stopped working after that was
installed and I can't seem to get it working again.

In Device Manager, try right clicking on the CD ROM drive, click
Uninstall, reboot, and see if that fixes the problem. Usually just has
to do with improper loading of the drivers.
