Question Unable to uninstall Norton 360

Hello, I uninstall the program from my Windows 10 PC few months ago after a year of use but everyday the "My Norton" window keeps showing up several times. It states that "Your current version of Norton 360 is not compatible with Windows 10. Click Next to download a new version and stay protected".
Also, shortcut for the file "Norton Download Manager" and folder "Norton Installation files" keep showing up even I deleted them.

Could you please let me know how to get rid of all these?

Never installed Norton, so I have n insight on how to fully eradicate it.

No problem. I tried again but they keep showing up like ghost. It is also very difficult to get in touch with a human in Norton.

check services? sometime they have some service running in the background

Might try revo uninstaller which is supposed to hunt down down any registry entries and folders and attempt to forcibly remove them.

Worst case you may have to reformat.

I tried the steps outlined by Stephen on Jun 2019.

I did not delete the registry as I could not.

The problem seems to have solved. No more Norton coming back to haunt me.

However, there is a new problem. Quite often, after I turned on the PC, it gets stuck at "Aorus Preparing Automatic Repair" or just "Aorus". I have to turn off and on the machine several times to get to Windows 10. Is there a good way to fix this?

I am using a Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Xtreme motherboard.
