Before i upgraded to windows 10, i was on windows 7 and i could use my external Seagate hard drives and Asus Ai Suite 2 with USB 3 Boost to get USAP on them which was fantastic.

I then upgraded to Windows 10. I have the same drives plugged into my USB 3.0 ports with the same Asus Ai suite 2 & USB 3 boost running and i am unable to use USAP. It just is not an option in my Asus Ai suite any more.

I recently bought a Inateck SSD enclosure which was USAP compatible to take advantage of the increased transfer speeds, but now i cant use the USAP because it is not available which is frustrating.

Does anyone have a solution or some idea of why this might be? how can i get USAP functionality back? I know my drive/motherboard is compatible because they used to run USAP through Windows 7.

The above issue has come about due to a minor issue with your drivers. Is it possible to pass on your full systems specs? I'm sure your devices have drivers available for download and namely those that are from Asus which will help solve your USAP issue but as a (quick) work around try and install your drivers in compatibility mode:
Right click installer>Properties>Compatibility Tab>Windows 7 [from the drop down menu]

I have been looking for a sticky on how to post more detailed system specs but cant find one easily. Have you got a link? (maybe i just missed it)

I will reinstall the Asus AI suite again in compatibility mode and see where that gets me. Thanks
