unacceptable character when activating??

I'm trying to activate my windows 7 home, and the second character of the Key "N" is coming up as an unacceptable character? It's the only N in the key, I've tried typing it elsewhere and pasting. No avail. It's so strange. I've typed the whole key out on notepad, copied,pasted, and it pasted the whole key, minus that N. And the key minus the N didn't work obviously.

Suggestion?
