Hello guys I bought a new SSD Kingston 480Gb yesterday and I instantly had an issue with unallocated space (451MB), the big partition says (446.47Gb) and on its right 1 says (99MB Healthy) the other one is the (451MB) unallocated...
So the problem is I am trying to make a new simple volume of it and it says (there's not enough space available on the disk....)
even when I try to extend volume of the 446GB it shows the unallocated 449MB but it says the same as above (not enough space etc....)

So I can't do anything with it, even tried couple of partition tools but nothing works, I am not an expert with the tools (probably using it wrong)

I am not worried about the actual size nor looking to get the 99mb.

I am asking about the 449MB unallocated space that I can't merge with the rest of the 446GB, nor make a simple volume out of it..

And no this is not the Windows C drive. I already have windows installed on the older SSD.

Here's a few screenshots to see what I am getting step by step

Why have you made your drives dynamic? This just causes problems.
I'd suggest, you:
  • copy contents of drive F: to drive D:
delete all partitions from disk 2 (drive F: and 99MB partition)
    convert disk 2 to basic;
create single large partition on disk 2 (assign letter F: to it)
copy back data from drive D: to drive F:

Are you 100% sure thisis a "new" drive?
It shouldn't come with those partitions.

In any case, since you just got it, there's nothing on it yet you need to keep.
Delete all 3 partitions, reformat, and give it a drive letter.
One large blank space.

ok so I did what you told me to..

1-Moved files from F: to another drive
2-formated the drive F:
3-Converted F: from dynamic to Basic

now the unallocated space 449MB can be allocated as a new Volume but cannot be merged with drive F:
so its okay I at least I got the unallocated volume to be used even if it is as different drive.

here's how it is now

A 500MB partition isn't much good.

You need to delete all existing partitions, leaving one blank space.
Then, New Simple Volume, format, and give it a drive letter.

Can't. won't let me delete them, it will only allow me to delete the 446GB.. the other 99mb and 450mb cannot be deleted.
