Hi all, i have been visiting this site for a long time, but this is the first time i need something like a personal assistance. The thing is, am about to build my first rig, i have been watching this benchmarks about the e5 2670, and i think this cpu runs cool on games, no the best, but is cheap. And this where i get totally undecided, i want a pc for at least 4 or 5 years, and i don´t think that the xeon is too much futureproof. The pc is for gaming only, and with the launch of bf1 in october i want to be ready.

So, i have been doing an intense research, and i get these next cpu+mb combo:

1) The xeon...: 75 usd for the cpu, 255 usd for the mb (a gygabite x79 ud3 i hardly found), 330 usd total.

2) non OC skylake: 285 usd for a i5 6600, 114 usd for a b150, mATX, 4 slot ddr4 mb, total 399 usd. If i buy a z170 mb, for posterior oc and cpu upgrade, the total would be 476 usd.

3) non OC haswell: 292 usd for a i5 4690 and 84 usd for a b85, 4 slot ddr3, mATX mb. Total of 376 usd.

4) OC haswell: 310 usd for the i5 4690k and 140 usd for a z97, atx mb. 450 usd total.

So please, help me take a decisión, is the xeon futureproof? should i choose a newer hardware? is it worth haswell over skylake, for a few bucks less? should i buy an overclockable motherboard instead? That's all guys, i have to mention that im from Chile, south america, that's why i put the prices for you. The rig is for gaming, nothing else, and that cheap xeon got me into this situation.
