im sure someone on ebay will sell a used gaming pc for that price, that lets you play almost everything.

clean windows install and you're set.

before such a "simple" question can be answered one would ask, what games are you expecting to play with that computer, and then your 250$ needs to be composed of what components? everything including a monitor (ie case, motherboard, cpu, ram, video-card, and hard drives?)
