Undi initialized failed

Help me please. I don't know why it's doing this. I was on my computer and then I went to sleep. I left it on the many times I have, it doesn't hurt it, or it never has before. And I woke up and it was making a weird noise, and I try to move my mouse to get it from stand-by and it wouldn't.

So I decided to restart my computer, and it now says Undi initialized failed, no media detected.

I try to go to bios, but I couldn't do anything, I looked up on google, and it sounded like my network card or something, but it was working fine before stand-by.

Anyways, after that happends, I press a key and then it says select proper boot device and press any key. Then it doesn't do anything. Help please

Ok, I turned it off and left it off for awhile, and it started to work, it went to my windows 2000 loading screen, then it stopped, and the weird noise came back. 🙁 Someone please help

It sounds as if something has been shaken loose in the case. Try refitting all the hd cables and recheck the seating of the pci cards.
