I've looked a round and can't figure out the answer to my question. Everyone talks about how to uninstall Linux from a dual boot or even stick a windows cd in. I have just linux on my computer it's not a dual boot. All i want to do is remove ubuntu. I have no windows to put on it I simply just want no OS on this computer. Can someone please help me thank you.

On your current machine (the one you are using to post here):

1. Download and install YUMI from HERE
2. Download an ubuntu distro from HERE
3. Create bootable usb using YUMI; install downloaded ubuntu onto usb
4. Boot usb on the old machine; Ubuntu will automatically run when you boot to the usb
5. From ubuntu, open program named gparted
6. In drop down (upper right corner), select device you want to format
7. After selecting device, click partition you wish to delete
8. On top menu line, click partition > format to > fat32
9. Click apply

Repeat as necessary for any other partitions you wish to format.
