I recently built a PC and didn't have windows, so I decided to install Linux for the time being. Fast forward to today and I have a copy of windows 8.1 on a USB, but I have no idea how to remove linux and replace it with Windows. All the tutorials I found online are for different versions of windows or Linux. Or they simply create a dual boot. I Only want Windows, as I only have 120 gb of storage. I would greatly appreciate your help. Thank you in advance.

Hi

You do not uninstall operating systems ?
You remove the partition or reformat the partition ( or both)

You boot Windows 8.1 usb or DVD and take advanced options to remove all existing partitions
then let Windows create new partitions and install Windows

Is this a SSD? as 120 GB is very small for a hard disk.
Is this the only disk drive?

If Windows setup refuses to see the hard disk or remove the Linux partition then get hold of a Linux partition manager
such as gparted from http://gparted.org/
(can be burnt to CD or put onto USB)
