So, I'd be playing a game, and then all of a sudden I get a strange noise through my Headset and the picture just freezes and stays... Tried reinstalling all drivers, reinstalling windows and all BIOS have been ensured to be up-to-date.

MSI 3GB Twin Frozr III 7950
MSI 3GB Twin Frozr III 7950 oc/be (crossfired, and set to 880/1250)
Asus Xonar DX
AMD 8350 @ 4.6Ghz
Asus Sabertooth 990fx R2.0
16GB Corsair LP 1600mhz memory.

It usually only happens with Battlefield 3/4, but it has occurred with other games occasionally.

For testing purposes, I would take out one of the 7950's out and run some games to see if I get that problem without crossfire. If that's not it, you should try rolling back your drivers.

I've tried each GPU individually with no issues. I've tried rolling them back and also Beta drivers to no avail.
Could changing the GPU BIOS switch have anything to do with this, and I've also read that Soundcards are somewhat responsibly for shit like this 🙁

I'd say it would. Even though I haven't 'updated' a GPU BIOS myself, I know it can have some negative affects. My friend updated his and it changed his limited fan speed to 10%. He would crash when opening CRYSIS 3 and BF3, and HAWKEN. As for the soundcard, try removing it and start up a game. if that is the problem, then you fixed one problem and gained another: no sound.

Removing the soundcard seemed to work, I was doing this in between replies. However, I wonder if placing the Soundcard into a 4x slot instead of the bottom 8x slot, considering the top two are used for GPU's at 16x
