This page --https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/game-ready-drivers/13/285972/drivers-port-usb-type-c-missing-drivers-41634-for-/ Says that is a type C USB device from NVIDIA.
It also ties it back to an older version of Windows. Are you running Windows 10?
Thank You for replying.
Yes I'm running Windows 10 Version 2004
Hmm weird neither my pc nor my GPU has any USBC Port

If you put "PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1AED" into google -- You will see other references to the USB type C device....

Hmm. Thanks for replying
Indeed it does refer to USB Type C Device.

I didn't like those "driver finder" websites for a link ...
Nah its fine they aren't really that great to be honest.

Maybe I should reinstall the Nvidia drivers they now include a USBC driver with them.
Hopefully that would help.
I will update once I check it.

Did you use DDU to remove your previous NVIDIA drivers ? There could be residuals.

Did your PC upgrade from Windows 7/8 to Windows 10? That could also be the source ...

Yes I did use DDU to remove the previous driver but I wasn't able to install the drivers manually. Windows took charge of that.

Yes. Originally it did but it shouldn't be a source since I have clean installed it long after that.
