Hi i'm new to this site, so this is my first post but I have seen a lot of helpful tips and people on here. Finally decided to join.

So I have been using my Philips LCD TV for gaming for about 6-8 months now. Never had any issues other than an occasional switcharoo between sources. All of the sudden today I switched over from my normal monitor and tried firing up a game. I got the "Unsupported Video Format" in the corner which has happened before but like I said I usually just switched to another source then back and it worked. I've tried rebooting...system restores from a couple days prior...different HDMI's...different inputs/outputs...I finally got it to where the desktop and everything works fine but the second I go to play a game it gives me this problem. All games not just one. Games which I have played before at the 1080P resolutions.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have made sure all drivers are updated and they are. I keep up on that stuff regularly.

I would first suggest maybe wiring the PC up to a different screen source. If thats not an option, then maybe a dvi-vga cable to connect it to the pc. This should rule out any problems with the GFX card if that works. Plug another source into the TV using HDMI (DVD,PS3 etc.) and see if it gives the same error. After that just let me know the results and I'll see if I can help you further.
