i just received a brand new Crucial MX500 (1TB) with M3CRO46 firmware............when i power it up for the 1st time, the power count is already 6...........and while 0 GB has been written...............the FTL program NAND page count is 11,314...........is this normal ??

( perhaps it was updated with the latest firmware and that accounted for the FTL page count and power on count ?? )

Answer written in here (topic with very same question as yours),

5 months later and still not happy with the solution given there? 🤔

Also, why not to point out that you've asked it already somewhere else?

powered on the 1st time and the power on count is already 6
Powered on by you 1st time. But some drives are taken for testing during manufacture, to see if the drive is sound. Yours could be one of such drives that saw quality checks before shipped out of factory and sold. Hence high NAND page count but 0GB written.
