hello everyone, so i recently just bought the tuf gaming b760m plus wifi d4 and havent used it yet as i dont have the other parts for the board, however after opening the cpu pin cover i noticed this

i really hope i can just somehow put the pins back into place as i really dont want to wait to return the board to get a new one.
would the board still be usable and would i be able to use it still if i put the pins back into place or should i just get another one?
thank you

should i just get another one?
i've corrected bent pins a few times with luck but only on older very "used" products.

if i bought this "new" i would be returning it for an actual new undamaged product.
if you bought it as "opened package" or "like new" then you may just be stuck with it.

if purchased new it should be quick and easy to get a refund from the retailer.
quicker and easier than RMA through the manufacturer.

ok thanks i did purchase it new, not used before.
so should i contact asus and just get a replacement?
thanks

Bent socket pins are considered as user caused damage and RMA will likely be declined.
Best to see if you can return the motherboard unused to the vendor.

Failing that option, you could try using it.
The purpose of specific pins is murky and may not be relevant to your use.
Most bent pins I have seen are in the opposite quadrant, damage caused by bad insertion, and usually ram related.
Looks like two pins are there and could probably be nudged back into position.

If they look at the board both will refuse RMA/Warranty.
Bent pins are pretty much automatically rejected.
