You have to be careful about old stuff you find on the internet. intel as well as realtek really messed up when they first launched their 2.5gig ethernet chips. Both had fairly significant issues that could only partially be fixed by bios and driver updates.
I don't remember the exact problems but it only affect a small number of motherboard since it was when only high end motherboards had 2.5g ports. They did fix the issue in the manufacturing process so the newer chips did not have the issue.

Any motherboard made lately should not have the issue. There are reports though that some company in china bought the surplus defective chips and is selling them in ethenet adapters on ali express.

You would think a big company like intel wouldn't have issues but they had a similar issue when they first launched the i226 chips.
The jokes on reddit said it was because the guys who used to work for killer (intel bought killer) were in charge of design. Killer ethernet chips were know to be buggy and had stupid "gamer" functions that caused a lot of issues.

Could I ask a new question, Monitors turn off when gaming. now. any idea?

I would open a new thread on maybe the video card or monitor forums. A lot of people will not read to the end of longer threads outside their area of their expertise. I tend to only look at network stuff for example.
I did try that however it was removed for “bumping”? Whatever that means
