Hello, I have a Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 (Socket 1155) motherboard. Today I updated to the most recent BIOS version , using @BIOS. @BIOS downloaded the most recent version and installed it successfully. I rebooted the system but once it passed the BIOS splash screen and detected the attached drives it flashed a blue-screen for a fraction of a second before restarting the boot process.
Now whenever I reboot, it becomes stuck on the screen that reads Loading Operating System... I have tried switching the hard-drive to be AHCI instead of IDE but that didn't change anything.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. My current system specs are below.

Solution
See if you can boot into BIOS. Tap the "delete" key when boot starts. The first thing you should do after a BIOS upgrade or even a BIOS reset is boot to BIOS and set up everything like it should be. If your BIOS was set to AHCI mode, it might be in GPT mode and etc. Also, set the memory to advertized timings and speed again. And whatever else needs to be set.

I have solved the problem. After reading the stickyed post about Gigabyte motherboards, I realized that I shouldn't have used @BIOS to flash the update. I also realized that I have the revision 2.0 board so I was trying to flash the wrong version. I downloaded the correct update to a flash-drive and re-flashed with the latest stable update, version FD, using Q-Flash. Everything is working as expected now!

Go here: www.gigabyte.us

Enter Z68AP-D3, in the search at the top-right of the page and pick your MB and go to the page and click on "CPU memory support & downloads." Choose "download type" for BIOS, pick the latest FD bios and download it from the closest location to you.
