Updates for Office components not even installed?

Why do I get updates from Windows Update for software that I don't have installed? I have Office, but only Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Yet I get updates for OneNote, Outlook, Publisher and the likes too.
This is on Windows 8.1 Pro

because windows change your updates to 'let me choose' and then just update what you need (just security updates)
