updating a7nx-vm/400

this message is for anyone posting or replying to Why did I buy the
a7n8x-e deluxe?
I have read all the replies to this thread and have the following
question regarding updating the bios. I have ordered an ATN8X-VM/400
and am going to use a sempron 2800. The asus compatibility chart says
that the board will not boot up without upgrading the bios. My
question is how do you flash the bios if you can't boot up at least
to dos? Anyone? Thanks

Ask the vendor what BIOS the board has, and to flash it for you if
needed.

Ed thanks for reply, however board has already been shipped. Any other
methods?
