Question updating B450 aorus elite

hi im trying to update the bios for my b450 from f40 to support my ryzen 2600, im using the athlon 200 GE to get display into bios, although when i went to download the latest bios update from gigabyte's site they're requiring me to download ' EC FW Update Tool B19.0517.1 ' before updating anything, can someone please explain what this is/ how to install it? thank u

Regardless of BIOS revision the 2600 should work on a B450.

I'll try again but it only seemed to load into bios when i used the athlon

Make sure no CPU pins are bent.

all the pins are fine, plugged in the 2600 and got no display.

Are you using a graphics card? The R52600 has no Igpu, unlike the 200ge.

If so, make sure the monitor is plugged into the GPU.

i haven't tried anything yet, i'm gonna completely rebuild it in a bit but i just got in and it no longer turns on, fans just spin for a sec, although something really fucking weird was happening, i'd turn my pc at the front panel switch, it'd power down, but the motherboard's lights would stay on.. so i turned it off at the psu switch and thought none of it, it ran completely fine when it was running, i was playing games n stuff over the few days i actually got it to work, but anyway if you're interested i'll list what i own
msi rx vega 56
ryzen 2600
b450 aorus elite
normal WD hdd
ram is like 8b corsair vengeance ddr4
and the psu is the corsair rm750x
