[SOLVED] Updating BIOS for new CPU

I am gonna upgrade my cpu from i3 7100 to i5 7600, i have an asus b250m-k motherboard bios version 0302, do i need to update the bios for the new cpu?

No, it is supported.

No, they are same series.

You dont have to since they are from the same Gen, but its always advised to run the latest bios as it fixes bugs the manufacture has found.

So just to be 100% clear all i need to do is just take out the old cpu and put in the new one then boot up the pc and it should work?
