Hi everybody,

I'm looking to upgrade my computer in order to play new games and older ones (Fallout 4, Skyrim, Borderlands, Witcher ?, maybe Battlefront etc.) on high settings, with acceptable fps.
I have around the budget for an xbox one (in canadian dollars around 500$)
My computer is an hp p7-1240.
Cpu: AMD A10 5700 (with integrated Video card)
RAM : 10gb
Gpu : HD Radeon 7660D
Psu : 300 W
Mother board : MSI MS-7778 (Jasmine)

more infos here : http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03353576

So, I have roughly 3 options available:
(my friend is giving me a 500W corsair PSU)

1. Upgrade only my gpu to GTX 750 ti, no PSU upgrade, low gameplay to expect. Very inexpensive. But would need to chage in the future.
No CPU bottleneck to expect either I assume.

2. Upgrade to a better card, like GTX 950 or GTX 960. Will my CPU boottleneck the crap out of that? Will it run good?
If bottleneck are to expect, would i need a new mobo / cpu combo? which one would be good for my setup considering my case?

3. New build : I would need recommandations. since I am a noob at that.

SO, what do you think, what money should I throw in, what's the good move?

THANK YOU!

Here is my suggestion: Reuse your CPU, RAM and hard drive. Otherwise, build a new system off something like this:

Thank you, I will look into this!
You are sure this CPU is good enough? I'm fearing it would bottleneck.
Also, why upgrade the motherboard? Will ¸my AMD A10 5700 APU fit on a FM2+ since it is a FM2?
