my rig is kind of confuse when i install a new ram..
since when i inserted the new ram, continues beeping occur and the bios setup never appear. neither all functions. i come up to that idea well my pc undergoes multiple formats and reset of the bios. i already check incompatibility issue, and have no problem with it coz i tested it on my friends pc that we have the same unit and found no issue
well i think of updating old version of my bios will do the trick. but iam stuck with that.

Your friend is running the same BIOS version as you also?
Are you adding a single new stick of ram, a kit of two sticks or completely replacing the ram. There is the possibility of incompatibility if adding ram to already existing ram. Some ram modules just don't play well together and while the new ram may not have issues with your friend's installed ram, it may very well not want to play nice with yours, it's really that simple.
If replacing ram completely with a 'kit', you shouldn't encounter issues like that.
There may be ways to get a single added module stable through BIOS but I'd need to know your current ram type and the new ram type (a link to exact parts is best), motherboard and CPU (or a link to your PC model should work)
