Solution
Well.. for about 120 dollars, this card provides awesome performance and also has 2GB VRAM. Definitely get this. Also this would not be a boottleneck with your specs.

I hope this helps. Would this do for you?
Looks like a well-thought update. The card will run fine in your machine. Hopefully that's a quality PSU, the wattage is perfect for the GTX 650. The CPU is a bit old, and being a dual core, you may not see the greatest gaming, but the 650 should pair well, as that's not a high end card or anything.

Good luck!

That board can support many CPUs (http://processormatch.intel.com/CompDB/SearchResult.aspx?Boardname=dg45id). A Core 2 Quad would be a great upgrade, if you can find one.

The HD 7790 is around the same price and performs better in many games. There's a great deal on this one right now: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202029

i also viewed 660 specs.my mobo is old one and i will only get gpu performance that is supported by PCI-E 2.0 slot. 660 requires PCI-E 3.0 for good performance.gtx 650 is also requies PCI-E 3.0 but i think that it will be supported well by my mobo and also i have to keep my budget in my mind :)

Exactly the next question i was going to ask was about HD 77xx series.i have red some forums and according to some guys 7760,7770,7780,7790 have some high voltage issues and some says radeon gpu perform best with AMD processors and Nvidia performs best with intel.is this myth true

Just so you know PCI-E is completely backwards compatible, and the difference between PCI-E 2.0 and 3.0 is actually pretty tiny. So you can comfortable play a PCI-E 3.0 card in that motherboard and not see any lack in performance (if you have a decent CPU/RAM, etc).

The AMD/AMD Intel/nVidia is more myth than reality. With that being said there are scenarios, I believe, where they have the potential to work better paired that way. But don't let that sway you from pairing AMD with Intel; many many people do that with excellent results. If you're concerned with high voltage stability, don't overclock. But AMD GPUs are definitely known for overclock-ability.

so will HD 7770 perform well with my current hardware, and should i go for it? 7770 is faster than gtx650 but will it be good in grafix too cause i don,t want to have some grafix like chipset and according to you high voltage problem is due to overclocking? am not in favor of overclocking a gpu:)

I'm actually not read up on voltage problems with AMD cards, so that was just speculation. I wouldn't get a 7770 over a GTX 650, I recommend a 7790 like I linked to, it's a much better bang for the buck. I wouldn't let alleged voltage issues keep you from getting an AMD card. They are usually just as stable as any nvidia card.

i reviewed 7790 but like you said it,s pretty bang for buck so that budget thing is keeping me out of 7790,s league :) now i have two options left 7770 or gtx650.what do you say cause i
will go for expert opinion.

Definitely GTX 650, then.

thanks bra,you helped me alot,i will post my reviews soon after purchasing gtx 650. thanks again.

i am also amazed that ACTechy did,t recomended HD 7770.well am still confused between these two. i have checked some videos on frame rates of 7770 vs 650. gtx 650 has slightly more fps than 7770.round about 4-5fps but subscribers says its a fake video, 7770 beats gtx 650,things like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0yx1oFhl24

And graph statistics says 7770 is better.

sangeet i think i can,t get max efficiency from 7790,650 ti or 7850 cause my cpu will limit me?
i can get my hands on 7790 but it will be of no use if cpu and gpu are not balnced.

The GTX 650 is a fine pairing for the OPs rig. We already went through the budget restrictions, so Sangeet's post isn't helpful (read the post before you comment). The 7770 and 650 are pretty closely matched, but having nvidia features (Physx, TXAA, etc) in my opinion, out-weight the 7770.

i have viewed gameplays using gtx 650 and 7770 on youtube and gtx 650 used to have 3-4 fps more than 7770 but according to benchmarks 7770 is better than 650.

and other thing Nvidia has physx but may be readeon have same technolgy with differnt name ?

well till now am confused and once i made final decision i will checkout at amazon.
