I ordered GIGABYTE M32U 32" 4K 144Hz Gaming Monitor with IPS, 1ms Response Time, HDMI 2.1, USB 3.0 - Black

This is an upgrade from my current 1440 27" 60Hz monitor.

I also just ordered a new GPU. I am hoping to play Arma Reforger and Arma 3 at 4k. But I am worried the new GPU cannot handle 4k and I'll be stuck on a 32" 4k monitor playing at 1440. Will this look worse than my current 27" 1440? Am I wasting $500?
