Hi,
I'm considering an upgrade this build:

i5 7500 @ 3.6Ghz
Msi Z270 Tomahawk
Kingston 16GB DDR4 - 3200Mhz
EVGA GTX 1070 FTW
SilentiumPC Supremo FM2 Gold 650W
256GB Toshiba NVMe + 500GB SSD Kingston
Samsung 32" 1440p 144Hz - CHG70

First option (IMO best for 1440p) is to buy only RTX 2070 Super ( the price gets really nice because of the COD:MW included ) and the next step will be CPU change in next few months.
Second, stay with GTX 1070 and upgrade a platform (ryzen 3600, mobo)

Games: Escape from Tarkov, COD: MW, Cyberpunk 2077.

Thx for a word.

For most games you would probably be better off upgrading the GPU first, however something like escape from tarkov might be an exception to that.

An i5 7500 will hold back a 2070 super in modern games even at 1440p. I run a 2070 super and i7 7700k@4.9ghz at 1440p 144hz and even that holds back my 2070 super slightly in more cpu heavy games, BF5 and AC Odyssey for example.

The MW beta ran great on my system, not cpu bottlenecking at all, ran max settings over 100fps the whole time. I don't think it's very CPU intensive. No idea what Cyberpunk will be like in terms of performance, the system requirements posted so far only call for an i5 2500k for min CPU.
