So I am thinking about upgrading a few of my parts on my computer as I feel there could be some improvement in what I have. I have a power supply that is 500 W and would like to know if there is a chance I keep it or if I should get more power for an improved build. Some advice would be nice so I could have a good idea on what to buy this upcoming holiday season. I also have three DDR3 sticks of Ram on my board currently. Thank you very much for the advice.

CPU: AMD FX-6300
Motherboard: MSI 990FXA GAMING (MS-7893)
Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
Western Digital 1TB Hard Drive
Case: Corsair - 200R ATX Mid Tower

It seems you found some memory that fits the memory slots. Too bad you don't know what your using.

I suggest using FX-8350 CPU, a 2x4GB kit of 1866MHz memory, 240GB SSD for OS. An aftermarket CPU cooler and a good quality thermal compound would be a good idea too.

No more than a single kit of memory is recommended. You can sell your old memory.

There's no sense in spending more money on an outdated CPU platform that will continue to present limitations.

You basically need a whole new build; CPU/Mobo/RAM/SSD and a PSU.
