So, I’m looking at upgrading platforms, and need some help determining if it’s worth it or not. Any advice will be helpful.

What I’m looking to get:
R5 2600
MSI b450 gaming plus mobo
T-force Vulcan 8gb ddr4 3000 (up to 16 in the future)
Arctic freezer 33 esports one heat sink
OR Hyper 212 evo
Cost: $360 (unless better Black Friday deals)

What I have:
I5 4570
12gb ddr3 ram
(Its oem, an HP envy pc)
Zotac 980 AMP
Evga 650 bronze power supply (not certain maybe 700watt)

Thanks in advance!

no need for the 3rd party cooler, stock is really good. My take:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor ($159.89 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: ASRock - B450 Pro4 ATX AM4 Motherboard ($59.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($134.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $354.87
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Adding extra stick of ram may not work in the future, get 16 now. 2600 and 980 can handle 1080p ~100+ fps gaming with suitable settings.
