[SOLVED] Upgrade advice

My system specs:
Cpu: i5 6400 2,7GHz
Gpu: GeForce® GTX 1050 D5 2G
Ram: 1x8gb Corsair Vengeance 3000Mhz
Motherboard: MSI H110M Pro-VH
Psu: Corsair CV Series CV450 450w 80 Plus Bronze
Ssd: Crucial bx500 240gb
Hdd: Wd Blue 1Tb

With that said I was wondering if I should upgrade my ram from 1x8gb to 2x8gb for the dual channel memory(the 1x8gb module is going for 50 euros or 60 dollars right now).

As you already have an SSD, upgrading the RAM seems obvious to me (if you can be sure that two sticks will be 100% identical).

My budget is really at the minimum so either the ram upgrade or nothing.
1080p
For gaming.
I wanted to see if i could get a better performance of the dual channel.

Oh, definitely.
Upgrading to 16gb, plus it being dual channel now, will allow you to expand your multitasking and boost your gaming performance.
Expect big performance improvements in newer demanding titles.

Thanks a lot, I was unsure whether to buy the ram 'cause I watched a couple of videos saying that since it is not a 1000$ computer it doesn't really matter if it is single or dual channel ram.

Unless its a really old system from like 15 years ago, it wont matter, but since its modern, it will.
