Question Upgrade CPU on a Gigabyte A320M-S2H to Ryzen 7 1700 help.

My current BIOS is F10, will that CPU run without a bios update being required? The motherboard bios requirement for this new CPU is listed as F1 so can I just swap out the CPUs and no drivers need updated?

Since that is a first gen Ryzen, it should work without any issues. You can see what each BIOS version does here: https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherboard/GA-A320M-S2H-rev-1x#support-dl-bios Raven Ridge are the APUs and Pinnacle Ridge are the 2nd Gen Ryzens. Flashing the BIOS wouldn't be the worst idea though, as the F23 has better RAM support.
