So I have been thinking of upgrading my system, because of certain problems I have been experiencing. Also, I just want a faster system, so that is another reason. But, on to my question, should I upgrade my CPU or GPU.
My Current System:
AMD FX-6300
8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 936MHz
ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. M5A97 R2.0
2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti (EVGA)
111GB Samsung SSD 840 EVO 120GB (SSD)
930GB Microsoft Storage Space Device (SATA)
I was thinking if I was going to upgrade my CPU I would end up going to Intel, as AMD has brought up some problems for me. That would mean I would need to get a new motherboard. I was thinking of getting a i5-4690k. If I upgraded GPU I was thinking of getting a GTX 970. So, I guess the question I am asking, is what part of my computer needs the most help? Also if I upgraded one of them, would it get bottle necked a lot by the other parts. Just some questions, hopefully someone could help me. Ohh also, I would want to be able to play GTA V at good frames.

intel will release 2 broadwell chips at june and also amd is gonna announce the R9 3XX which should drop the price on the gtx980 and if we are lucky we might get a 20~usd price cut on the 970

but tbh i would just save more money until the end of this year and grap a skylake and a gpu upgrade

When will AMD announce that, and how long after are prices expected to drop? Personally, I hate playing that price drop game, because in the end you could be waiting many months. But, the jump from 970 to 980 is to much to no want.

well the jump from a 970 from a 750ti on a FX6XXX(not overclocked) would be like getting a 760 with 3.5GB of vram

hell some ppl are struggling with a 8 core fx on gta v with a 7970/R9 280X that an nvidia 770 lvl even better when OC'ed (7970 scales better with overclocks)

Broadwell well drop at june amd will announce their cards at June expect a late June early July release

Skylake will drop early 2016 (late 2015)

well i expect something like this to happen again http://www.tomshardware.com/news/nvidia-gtx-780-price-drop,24886.html (on a tad bit smaller scale tho nvidia learnt from last time so they didn't aggressively price the GTX970 it is only gonna drop to 300 usd give or take)

the R9 380X and 390X should be Fab'ed @ 20nm and both should use HBM the 390 at least will do and if they dont have a retarded TDP like Hawaii did

We might even see the gaming version of the titan X they might call it GTX985.

well i hope we do i think i want one hehee if it doesn't break the bank that is

in a nutshell: last year's cycle shall repeat it self Amd releases a card that costs almost half the price of a titan and performs on par

Nvidia comes out with a Price cut on the 980 and a slight price cut on the 970 and releases the GTX985 to counter the R9 390X
