I have an NVidia Geforce GT 620 and an Intel Pentium G640 at 2.8ghZ. I can either upgrade the graphics card to a 7870 or get a new i5 4570. I understand that the 7870 will definitely be bottlenecked by the G640 but what do you recommend, upgrade my CPU first or my GPU first?
I have 8GB of ram, so ram won't be a problem.
Thanks.
Michael

I plan to be doing a lot of livestreaming so I think that upgrading the CPU will be more helpful than upgrading the GPU, as it will remove the bottleneck and will allow me to stream (4 cores is much better than 2!)

You will see a much better performance gain from upgrading to the MSI HD 7870 2GB but I'd recommend going with the Sapphire HD 7870 GHz OC 2GB http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A2J4ROE. You can usually find the Sapphire cheaper and Sapphire is also the best manufacturer of AMD cards. I've owned 3 of them and they have all performed exceedingly well, overclocked very well, and been more reliable than any other brand I've owned.
