upgrade cpu or gpu ?

Im Confused between upgrading graphics card or cpu

i5 4690 To i7 4790
Or
GTX 960 To GTX 1060

What should i upgrade first ?
For games like: Battlefiled 1,Blade and soul,GTA 5,League of legend,Overwatch,CS GO

My PC:
Motherboard: h81m-hd3
CPU: i5 4690
Graphics card: GTX 960
RAM: 8G

Hey Sultan. Before I tell you to upgrade, can I ask what kind of performance you're currently getting and what you're looking to get out of an upgrade?

If you don't plan on productivity and this computer is going be used for gaming 99% of the time, I would not recommend an I7 upgrade. As wonderful as those processors are, they won't help with gaming much (definitely not worth the fps/$). An I5 is still the sweet spot for gaming, until games start using more CPU cores.

As far as your current build goes, upgrading your GPU will get you much further. If you do decide to upgrade your CPU, I would look at something like an I5 6400-6600k. I would also recommend grabbing 4 or 8GB more RAM. From my experience, I push 8GB while gaming now so I've grown to 16GB. Having said that, you won't be getting super far going from a 960 to 1060. It will be a noticeable improvement but imo not worth the money for such a small upgrade. If you were leaping more generations or going to a 1070/1080 that would be different.

GTX 960 to GTX 1060 would be the right choice.

As far as your CPU temp is concerned, you're perfectly fine at 70C. If you want it to run cooler, you can buy an aftermarket heat sink and thermal paste. Are you currently using an Intel stock cooler? I would recommend something like a Cryorig C7, Cooler Master GeminII or Master Vortex (I'm only recommending low profile coolers as I don't know the size of your case).

Going from the i5-4690 to the i7-4790 won't get you any real improvements. Like SR-71 said, upgrading to the GTX 1060 will give you the biggest boost.

Yep unless you do very heavy multitasking, or need very good times with rendering videos, or stream games while doing other things, you won't even need the I7 your I5 will do very nearly as well as a 4770k/4790k will do in gaming -- maybe minus a few FPS in some situations. So yes the GTX 1060 is a logical choice just make sure since you already have a GTX 960 to get a 6GB version of the GTX 1060.
