But to be honest, that 1060 is acting as a bottleneck now, yeah its a good bottleneck but still upgrading it to a 1080 or something is way worth it than wasting all that processing power on nothing.

I'm surprised a 7700 and a 1060 6GB is getting outdated. But from the upgrade perspective, you're better off upgrading the GPU. If you can score a 1080ti or a 2080, then you'll be more than happy for a good while. The 7700 is no slouch, even though it disappeared from all benchmarks. That feels like a stupid thing to do, but if you look for aggregated scores, the 7700 is still "up there".

Cheers!

Is upgrading to the rtx 2060 good I mean i know that the gtx 1080 is amazing and all but rtx 2060 is cheaper and is way better compared to the gtx 1060 6gb

An rtx 2060 will do quite well with an i7 7700, if its in your budget, go for it as it's a great value card. New + almost equal to a 1080

On a side note: If you are willing to wait for a little while i would recommend waiting until navi comes out, just to make sure you get the most graphical power for your money, as it may drive the 2060/2070 prices down: Fingers Crossed

Historically, nVidia prices rarely get affected by AMD releases in the mid-range. No idea why, but that's what usually happens. I wouldn't count on this time being much different. AMD prices on the other hand do change, so if you're looking for a Vega64/56, it would be worth the wait to see how cheap they get.

And the RTX2060 is a decent card, yes, but the GTX1070, GTX1080 and GTX1080ti cards are still great value if you can find them.

Cheers!
