Hey everyone, so to the point.
I bought a PC which used to belong to a large company that went under, it was rarely used if at all it was 120€ with the peripherals included. So I knew it was not going to be a powerhouse...

Anyhow I have been using it for a while now and I am satisfied with it, but I want to make a couple of upgrades to it, not turning it into a MLG Gaming PC, but into a PC that is able to play games like Skyrim, CS:GO , Payday 2 at decent quality (medium settings).
My budged for this upgrade is around 100€-150€.

PC: DELL Optiplex 380

OS: Windows 7 (64bits)

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 @ 2.93GHz

RAM: 4,00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 531MHz

Graphics:
DELL E1911 (1440x900@60Hz)
Intel Chipset Intel G41 Express (Dell)
Intel Chipset Intel G41 Express (Dell)

So realistically GTA 5 60 FPS ULTRA is of course not unattainable but again its not what I am looking for.

Try and find a Q9650 Core 2 Quad or a different Q series (6700 fairly cheap)

The G41 Chipset should be able to support the Q CPU's , try and update your bios prior to upgrading if possible.

And maybe a 260X or a 270 if you can find one cheap enough.

Oh just seen it's a small form factor, does it take full height pci cards?

There are plenty of Low profile 7750's but it's not the greatest card in the world, will play 1080p and should cope with the games your asking ok

Thank you for your reply.

No, I should have mentioned that I can only use low profile PCI cards.

Now I have been looking around but you can you help to find a website with a good price? (I don't understand much about computers to be honest nor the best places to shop parts for them).

I have no idea where you'd buy parts from there, but I will ask my Portuguese friend where I might be able to find parts if no-one else responds.

Failing that you could try Amazon.es and see what the delivery is like?

The two cards you want are either the R7 250 or the GTX 750Ti, both low profile of course, the 750Ti is much better but also more expensive, if you got the 750Ti then that wouldn't leave much room for a CPU upgrade which I think you could benefit from.
