Upgrade for GTS 450 and Intel Pentium Build

Currently a friend has had a PC for a few years that runs csgo and assassins creed.

Nvidia GTS 450
Intel Pentium
4gb Ram
160gb HDD
500w PSU 80 PLUS bronze certified
Windows 8.1

What are changes that would not break a 150$ budget?

All help would be appreciated.

What socket is it or atleast which Pentium so we can figure out the socket? That gpu would be difficult to replace along with the cpu however depending on which Pentium we are talking about it might be pointless to upgrade the gpu alone.

An SSD. That's really all you can do besides maybe a GPU upgrade to the 750 Ti or 265 (depending on what kind of power supply it is)

CPU is fine for medium even high in some cases. Buy the best gpu you can. Most likely going to be a gtx750ti with tha budget.

At that budget, the 265 would be your best bet, and if you play BF4 you can use Mantle to get even better performance.
