Upgrade for my rig

this are my specs:
Fx 6350 (4.3 ghz).
12 gb Ram
XFX r9 390
m5a97 r2.0

my display is 1600x900 AOC
and i want to buy a new display
what display you reccomend me
1080p or 1440p with my specs.


Next year i want to upgrade to amd zen processor.

You have to decide between IPS It's image color quality, and TN quick response times + high refresh rate.

But typically they are good monitors, the TN ones.

what display you reccomend me
1080p or 1440p with my specs.

Depends on the games you are playing...

- Low demanding ones (Pej. Mobas) : Could get nice framerate with a 1440p
- High demanding ones (Pej, Bf4): You are on the fringe, currently playable in some (Bf4), barely playable in others (Witcher3, Assesing Creed) but next step in graphic would put you behind. 1440p if you are not too much sensible to low framerates and plan to get a new card fo rnext gen of games or 1080p if you need high framerates and/or dont plan to upgrade the card in 2 years.
- Cutting edge future releases (Pej, Star Citizen): I would say that you could forget 1440p on current gen (well, even 1080p) i would say stick to 1080p

Okay 1080 will do, also I want ips I think is better to have nicer image. I don't know maybe crossfire my r9 390 in the future and of course change my cpu. What monitor do you recommend?
