upgrade from 64 x2 4800 system with xp now

mobo, cpu, ram and os. i want to upgrade to a current configuration. imvu only game. youtube and movies and internet use.

i need some ideas, suggestions and help on choosing.

I presume you want a new pc, are there any components you want to reuse (monitor, mouse etc) and budget?

amd apu. get a quad core. 4gigs 1866 ram. what's imvu mean? w7 is good. lots of people either love or hate w8. get a 64bit version/ gotta edit.......... coming from xp you're better off with 7.
