Question Upgrade from I5-3470 to I7-3770

I have Dell Optiflex SFF i5-3470 3.2 ghz ivy bridge LGA1155 Socket 77W and mother board Dell 0WR7PY rev 09, Q77 Intel chipset and has Heat Sink 0637NC. I am going to upgrade CPU I7-3770, do I need to upgrade the cooler fan too?

What HSF are you using?

According to this they are both 77W CPUs. They should use the same HSF.

It's free to try your existing cooler. You should be fine. If not, THEN look at a new cooler.
