Question Upgrade from i7 4790k

Hello,
I bought my i7 4790k in 2014 (5 years, thats a lot computer-wise!).
Everything was fine until recently, i started to play around a lot with Unreal Engine, Maya and such. And it seems i'm getting at the limit of my brave CPU can handle.

I tried overclocking but above 4.5 is unstable as hell (or too hot).
So, i'm thinking of upgrading.
My usages are: as said, messing around quite a lot actually with UE, Maya and such (and programming, so lots of core is nice when compiling, but a good single core perf is nice too ..),
but also gaming (new Triple A and such), at 1440p.

My current config:
32 GB DDR3
2080 Ti OC
Asus Sabertooth MK2
i7 4790k
ASUS ROG PG278Q (1440p 144Hz G-Sync)

I know it'll lead to buying new ram and such (that sucks but meh .. once every 5 year is okay)

Any ideas about a good CPU that could replace the 4790k for the years to come?

Thanks for your answers ! :)
(and sorry for my English, non-native english speaker here!)

Newer titles are very demanding and with a 2080ti you will run into CPU limitations, even at 1440p.
What is your total price range for new CPU, Motherboard, and ram?
Do you prefer Intel or AMD? Intel is best for high-end CPUs, AMD is generally a better value for midrange and below.
Do you want 32GB of ddr4 with your new setup? This will cost about $150 for a 3000mhz 2x16gb kit.

Well I personally prefer Intel but if perf/euro is better for the whole AMD setup, i'd maybe think about it.
Yeah 32GB are useful in my cases, Maya is a hungry little b*tch :D
Well, limit could be around 1000, maybe a little more ? I'm quite aware that i couldn't've much for less than that ^^

What country are you in for pricing. It veries per european countries. I would sugges a core I9 9900k+z390+32gb ram to start
I'm from France.
The i9-9900K ? Isn't that like kinda one of the biggest not-insanely-priced out now?
Any favourite motherboard brand? (I'm not at all into RGB crap so that's not a criteria for me .. ^^)

This setup includes a cpu with 8 cores and 16, same as the 9900k, but the 2700 has slower clocks and ipc for less gaming performance. This might not matter a ton at 1440p depending on game. The ryzen 7 2700 has 4.1ghz xfr but the 9900k has 5.0ghz turbo. Both processors can overclock with included motherboard the 2700 comes with stock cooler that is fine since zen cpus run cool. 9900k runs hot and needs a beefy cooler even at stock.

Hm okay .. Price difference is huge, but i'm afraid that the clock might impact a lot on single-thread workload (knowing that my 4790k runs from 4.0 to 4.5G atm ..)
But with the said workload, what would you take?

Achaios

In point of fact, @RedGamingTech made a video testing the 4770k OC'd at 1440P and 4K with an RTX 2080TI and proved that it doesn't bottleneck the 2080TI.

All this "Haswell is a bottleneck at 1440p and 4k" is an urban legend propagated by certain users in this forum and has got no basis in reality.

Well, gaming is not an issue for me. I know for gaming i wont gain much (or at all) moving to recent CPU.
But the multi-core workload i have (Unreal Engine, Maya, ..) struggles with the 4790k.
