is it good ? (2023-2024)
(upgrade from my i5 4690k)
290€

AMD RYZEN 5 3600 3.6GHz up to 4.2Ghz, Sixcore
ASUS PRIME B450M-A
2X8GB DDR4 BALLISTIX ELITE GAMING
500GB NVME KINGSTON NV2
CORSAIR VX 550W
AMD STOCK
BIT FORCE POLARIS RGB-2
WIN 11

IDProG

Distinguished
Approximation:
CPU: $330
Motherboard: $80
SSD: $80
RAM: $90
PSU: $90
Windows (CD-Key): $20
Total: $690 +$60 Case = $750

You could buy the build brand new 3 years ago for $750.

It is a decent upgrade from 4690K, but the build sucks.

the 3600 is a decent upgrade, but the 5800X3D is the best case for that mobo. the 5800X3D is a really good CPU.

and that PSU makes it a no deal. So maybe look for some other used PC with the 5800X3D? or look for individual parts?

5800x3D are a bit too expensive

other components are fine. and is the a520 mbo good?

The PSU you linked is an absolute horror. It makes the mediocre, 15-year-old PSU at the top of this thread look amazing in comparison.

Let's put it this way. If someone *gave* you $200 on the condition that you had to use that "White Shark" PSU into your PC, it's *still* an awful deal for you.

Tier B on the tier list is about as low as you should go on any GPU that requires supplementary power. A fake 500W PSU isn't even in the same galaxy. Not only is it a fake in any meaningful way -- it's basically a 300W PSU to any PC made after about 1999 -- it's fake in an ultra-technical way; it's a completely fake 80 Plus certification. Even *bad* PSUs can get 80 Plus Standard certification, the 80 Plus people have never even heard of this PSU.
