Looking for advice.

I currently have 6x128gb Vertex 4 in Raid 0 attached to my X79 mobo (@ 4.5ghz).

I got these a while ago and am assuming that there's been a lot of improvement since.

1. Am I maxed out at bandwidth already? If I recall, I'm getting 1gb read/800mb write.
2. If there's room to improve, what SSDs do you recommend? (I don't need storage - I have plenty of storage already. Just speed for OS / Installs)
3. Note, this Raid 0 is across SataII and SataIII ports so it defaults to SataII (I believe). If there are two drives I can put in Raid 0 on the two Sata III ports to achieve greater speeds, please let me know.

A pair of 980 Ti would set you back about $1200 vs the $2000 for a pair of Titans. I would tend to agree that a pair of 980s vs 3 670s would be a more or less direct replacement, but the amount of power saved and freeing up a slot might be worth it. (980 is no longer really cost effective with the release of the 980 Ti)

Pair of aircooled AMD Fury looks like it you set you back $1100 (Though should probably wait for benchmarks)

Hmm, there were a few PCIe SSDs around at the time of the Vertex 4 that would have offered better performance then what you are getting now. OCZ Revodrive comes to mind, and those are still around for sale.

I would snag an Intel 750. Many people are reporting that it works with older chipsets as a boot drive. Officially only supported by Z97 and X99 I believe.

The RAID card is a LSI 16 port SAS card to go along with the 14 SATA ports (6 intel, 8 LSI) on the Asrock X79 Extreme 11 motherboard. It can't go away because it is attached to the 80TB of storage I currently have attached to the system (24 3-8 TB drives).

I've asked the community about upgrading the GTX670 4gb x3 to 980s perhaps but most agreed that it would be only a 5% at most increase and at a huge cost. (Titans are obviously way too pricey).
