Upgrade gtx 1070 to gtx 1080 for VR

Hi All
I currently have an i5 6500, 16gb DDR4 RAM and a gtx 1070 installed.
I have recently purchased an oculus rift and i'm just wondering if upgrading to a gtx 1080 would increase my VR experience? Or if an increase in RAM or CPU would improve the overall experience?

CPU is a little rough around the edges for VR, but bumping up to a 1080 would definitely improve the experience. 1070 is good for VR as well, it's just that the 1080 is better for obvious reasons.

Completely up to you. If I had already spent the money on a 1070, I wouldn't want to upgrade, but that's just me. If you're really looking for performance, 1080 or 1080ti is definitely the way to go.

Wait for the next generation of cards at least, the upgrade to a 1080 wouldnt even be noticeable really.
