Upgrade gtx 980ti to sli or wait for pascal?

I haven't upgraded in a while and was wondering if I should upgrade to two gtx 980 ti's or wait for pascal

If you can wait 3-6 months before making a decision then that would be a good plan

What resolution are you running at? surround 4k, 5k?

980ti sli will be amazing for a couple years to come, then upgrade to new GPU later

If you're spending that much, you'd want it to last... With DX12 around the corner, I'd really wait for the new gen. Especially since SLI/CrossFire is improving on the new gen AND with DX12, and the decrease in power requirement, for Polaris especially, it'll also be cheaper (cheaper PSU, less heat output, less noise).

For multiple cards, the new gen is definately worth waiting for.

I would wait for Pascal to drop (May/June). Or order from a company like EVGA that has a Step Up program. I think it's a 60 day window and you can upgrade your cards at a difference of 40-60$
