Question Upgrade help

Hi all please I need some help with upgrading my pc so I need to know what GPU and CPU on this motherboard ?
I have been having direct x errors

Processor AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core Processor, 4335 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
Name Radeon (TM) RX 480 Series

On a system with older specs that still has some life left my go to is upgrade memory and GPU.
How much system memory are you running with.
I try to find a balance between getting the most bang for the buck but not to throw useless money at it as well by putting to powerful of a GPU upgrade that would not see any more useful outcome than the one that makes the best balance anyways.

I would get a GTX 1080-ti . It only need one 8 pin PCI-e power cable for the founders edition.

It has 11 Gb of video memory, there going for about $80-100 on offerup.com

I lean toward Nvidia mostly because Nvidia Drivers are easier to deal with as cards age and have a longer driver update life than AMD GPU's.

As to why your having Direct x errors can you give a little more info from your side.

What OS are you using Windows 7/8/10/or11 With the TPM bypass.

What game ("s) are you having issues with.

My 2 cents reinstall Windows, and save up for something with a CPU that's not 12 years old.

I would not spend a dime on that PC, unless you had to. You have no real CPU upgrade options. Any decent GPU will be bored waiting on the CPU to feed it information. What is the make/model of power supply, and what is your budget?
