Upgrade i7-4770 in Dell XPS 8700

Hi all hope you can help with my build I'm a bit stuck. My 8700 Mid 13 will get a few new upgrades that appear they will co-exist. But here it is PSU SeaSonic SS 660 XP2 80 Platinum, GPU EVGA
GTX 760 SC 2GB, Intel i7-4770 to be upgraded, 32 GB 800 Mhz Crucial Mem to be upgraded,
Crucial 480 SSD, WD 1TB blue. So with all of this what is a better CPU. The only gaming I do is flight sims. and a lot of muti tasking so I'm looking for speed,fast start up, To help with my inter net I have a Cisco-Linksys AC 1900. any input would be great But right now the CPU is next on my list
so I will be focusing on that

You have DDR 3 operating at 800mhz? This is very odd indeed!

You say multitasking and what are these programs you're running simultaneously? An i7 4700 is a top of the line cpu with some serious horsepower. The only limiting factor in your current system is the 800mhz ddr3(if that is correct). Moving to 1600mhz-1866mhz would give your system a serious boost.

Your i7-4770 @3.4 is already very good.
The only thing better would be the i7-4790K which runs at 4.0 stock with 4.4 turbo.
If your motherboard uses a Z97 chipset, you might be able to overclock a bit more.

I doubt that your ram is 800 speed. More likely it is 1600.

CPU-Z will identify your motherboard and what ram is actually installed.
The I7 chips do not require fast ram. It might make a small(1-3%) difference.
Probably not worth changing out.

Your case does not have great ventilation.
Your new graphics card will be hotter, as will a 4790K running full out.

Consider a better ventilated case and a aftermarket cpu cooler.
You can get each for about $50.
