So as you can see i'm having a motherboard which doesn't support overclocking and i haven't had any luck finding a z77 for cheap price.

Untill now i found a used Intel dz68db mobo for a cheap price.
So what do you guys suggest and if i get the mobo how much performance can i get, will it be compaitable with all my exsisting parts. Or should i wait for a total platform upgrade.

Kindly suggest.

Solution
Well $30 is not that bad-the pci-e slots being 2.0 won't hurt you as your 570 is nowhere near powerful enough to saturate the bandwidth. Depending on how far you can OC your processor you will notice a difference but once again it is a dated platform and I am unsure if you may run into any BIOS version issues.

The price of the used mobo is 25 to 30$,
The difference i saw from the spec sheet of DH77KC and DZ68DB were
PCIE 3.0 vs PCIE 2.0
1600Mhz support vs 1333Mhz memory speed support

So is it feasible or should i upgrade my platform
Thanks

It seems Z68 needs a BIOS flash, i have to ask the seller to do a bios flash with his 2nd gen CPU on board before using it on my 3570K.
Ok well, i will try to bargain and do the bios flash.
Another question, flashing the latest bios of the MOBO z68 will support the 3rd gen right.
