Hi, this is my first post here and I just wanted some advice, I've had my system for almost 3 years and I want to start upgrading it. My current specs are:
Cpu: i5 4590
Gpu: gtx 970
Mobo: MSI Z97
Psu: 650W
Ram: 16 GB
The games I play the most and the games I will be picking up for sure this year are:
Destiny 2
Monster Hunter: World (2019 Icebourne dlc)
Anthem
The Division 2
MK11
I want to upgrade my gpu to a gtx 1070 or better, and my cpu to an i5 8500(or any other recommendations) plus a mobo. Currently, there is a sale on a gtx 1070 at Canada computers for $470 CAD, reg price $649, and the sale ends Jan. 31. So should I buy the 1070? Or skip on the deal, upgrade my cpu and mobo, and buy a gpu later.
I am also worried my cpu will bottleneck the 1070 and cause stuttering/performance issues if I do go ahead and buy it.
Thanks
