Hello. I am thinking about upgrading my old computer in 2017/2018.

My budget is $ 1100.

The parts i am going to upgrade are:

Silver Power SP-SS500 500W PSU
AOC 2436Vwa Black 24"
Gainward GeForce GTX 560 1GB PhysX
Intel® Core i5-2320 Processor
MSI H61MU-E35 B3, Socket-1155
Corsair Value S DDR3 1333MHz 4GB
Corsair Value S DDR3 1333MHz 4GB

What should i buy?

Do i need to upgrade the PSU, it is working just fine and i think it can run a GTX 1070?

Thanks in advance :)

i think the psu has enough

Hello. I am thinking about upgrading my old computer in 2017/2018.

Might be better to ask when you know you're upgrading. Current hardware becomes irrelevant pretty fast when new ones arrive.

Also, with that budget, just build a new system and sell your current one for a low price. You don't need it anymore.

i can't tell what what other person preference is but i'm realy happy with what i am using

Processor AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core Processor 4GHZ

Motherboard ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0, Socket-AM3+ ATX, 990FX+SB950, DDR3, 4xG2-PCIe-x16, SLI/CFX, SATA 6Gb/s, USB 3.0

Video Card Gainward GeForce GTX 970 4GB Phantom

RAM Crucial DDR3 BallistiX 1600Mhz 16GB-Demo 4x4 GB,

i cant see why you want to upgrade your cpu it should be more then enough to keep for atleast 1-2 year
8 gb ram is enough but if you want faster performance i recommend 1600mhz and a ssd

if its anything you need its a better gpu

when i upgrade my computer i upgrade one part at the time as i see what i need for the current games that are going to be released

Thanks for all answers.

Maybe i will have to wait then before i upgrade my motherboard and CPU.

I think i will go for GTX Zotac 1070 mini and a better monitor in 2017 then :)

But do you think that i should pair a GTX 1070 with that CPU?

Iam afraid it will hold back the card by a lot..

it shouldnt be a problem, only thing i can see is that it require you to have at least 500w of psu and that seems to be above the limit if yours

Of course it depends on the game, are you hoping for high resolution at lower fps or lower resolution and high fps. The higher the fps the higher the load on the cpu.

1080p, medium/high maybe with that CPU.

I can always buy the card now and upgrade my mobo & CPU next november (black friday).
